Use: When held, ups water moves a little bit... also when held by a pokemon breeding, it will make a baby version of that pokemon ONLY FOR AZURILL(for example, Magmar is breeding, while holding Sea Incense, and when you hatch the egg, out comes a magby) To get to the Sea Incense, go right from the area where the stairs to the exit (or entrance) is, then go up. After going up, go back down and you will be in a different room than before. Now to get to the sea incense, just go up from this room. Very simple.

-----------------
Brace
Found: When using the item finder on Giovanni's spot in Viridian Gym...
Use: Double Effort Values...

-----------------
Leftovers -
Found: using the itemfinder where Snorlax(es) were
Use: heals 1/16 of your HPof a pokemons hp each turn. Rounded down if it is
not
total(thing?) - As in A pokemon that has 160 health and a 174 health, the 174
health pokemon will get the same amount of health each turn as the 160 health
poke

The actual formula looks something like
this:

Health recovered = Maximum health/16

However, any remainder is ignored. Therefore, 160/16
= 10, which is how much health a Pokemon with a
maximum of 160 HP will gain with Leftovers. Let's
just say you've got my stubborn Raich, at 174 HP. The
health it will recover is 174/16, or 10 remainder 14.
However, the remainder is ignored, which means my
Raichu will only recover 10 health.

Which is basically what I said(me?) in the first place.. Ahwell...

Types of evolution

There are a few way Pokemon evolves. Below are all the known way for
Pokemon to evolve

- Level Evolution
- Stone Evolution
- Day & Night Evolution
- Trade evolution
- Trade+Items evolution
- Beauty Evolution
- Happiness Evolution
- Stats Evolution
- Empty Slot evolution (Shedinja)

Level Evolution
A straigtforward evolution, Pokemon evolve after it reaches certain
level.
example: the starters

Stone Evolution
By using stone such as Fire Stone, certain Pokemon like Vulpix will
evolve. The downside to this kind of evolution, is that Pokemon will
unable to learn anymore new moves naturraly. Of course, there are
exception such as the Eevolution.
example: Lombre, Nuzleaf

List of Pokemon evolved by stones:

Pikachu -> Raichu - Thunder Stone
Nidorina -> Nidoqueen - Moon Stone
Nidorino -> Nidoking - Moon Stone
Clefairy -> Clefable - Moon Stone
Vulpix -> Ninetales - Fire Stone
Jigglypuff ->Wigglytuff - Moon Stone
Gloom -> Vileplume - Leaf Stone
Gloom -> Bellosom -> Sun Stone
Growlithe -> Arcanine - Fire Stone
Poliwhirl -> Poliwrath - Water Stone
Weepinbell -> Victrebell - Leaf Stone
Shellder -> Cloyster - Water Stone
Exeggcute -> Exeggcutor - Leaf Stone

Eevee -> Vaporeon - Water Stone
Eevee -> Jolteon - Thunder Stone
Eevee -> Flareon - Fire Stone
Lombre -> Ludicolo - Water Stone

Day and Night Evolution
Pokemon with this kind of evolution, evolve differently depending on
the time of the day.
Example: Wurmple

Trade Evolution
When a Pokemon is traded, it will automatically evolve.
example: Graveler, Kadabra

Trade+Items evolution
Pokemon will evolve if it taded while equipped with an item such as
King Rock
Example: Huntail, Gorebyss

Beauty Evolution
Pokemon will evolve after its beauty stats reaches a certain point.
This evolution only apply to Feebass
example: Feebass

Happiness Evolution
Each Pokemon, have its happiness point which indicate how loyal is
that Pokemon to its trainer. Once a Pokemon accumulate a certain
happiness point, they will evolve.
Example: Crobat

Stats Evolution
Stats Evolution
Pokemon will evolve differently depending on stats. The best example
would be Tyrouge. It evolves differently depending its attack and
defense stats to either Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee or Hitmontop.
Example: Tyrouge

Empty Slot evolution
You will get a new Pokemon, if you have 5 or less Pokemon in your
team. This evolution is only exclusive to Nincada->Ninjask+Shedinja
Example: Shedinja

Egg Groups

Most Pokemon belong to either 1 or 2 egg groups. Some
Pokemon do not belong to any egg groups, but can still breed
with the Ditto. You can only breed Magnimite with Ditto.
Pokemon like this I will call "Neutral". Some Pokemon
can't breed at all, like pre-evolved or Legendary Pokemon.
They are listed as "None".

In order to save time and shorten the list, I will only name the
first Pokemon in an evolution series. For example, Treecko will
be on this list, but not its evolved forms. The reason for this is
even after a Pokemon evolves, its egg group stays the same.

Pokemon Leaf Green Breeding

Where do I go to breed?

The day care center on Island 4. In order to reach Island 4 you
must have done the following:
*Logged over 60 different Pokemon in your Pokedex
*Battled the E4 and become the Pokemon Champion.
*Received the National Dex from Professor Oak.
*Retrieved the Ruby for Celio from Mt. Ember.

How do I breed.

Place 2 pokemon, 1 male and 1 female, from the same egg
group into the center. When breeding 2 different kinds of
Pokemon, the result will always be the same Pokemon as
the female. Example: Male Treecko + Female Mudkip =
Mudkip. However, there is one exception to this rule, and
that is Ditto. Ditto can breed with any Pokemon, except for
those in the "none" egg group, and the resulting egg will be
that of the other Pokemon. Example: Male Charmander + Ditto
= Charmander.

How do I get an egg?

If the Pokemon are from the same egg group, you will always
get an egg. The time it takes for them to make that egg varies.
When I say time I am referring to the number of steps you take
after dropping off the Pokemon. So if you stand still outside
the Day Care just waiting, you will never get an egg.

How long do I have to wait until my Pokemon have an egg?

Talk to the man standing just inside the fence. He will make
1 of 4 comments:
-"They're very friendly"
*It will take only a few steps before the egg is ready.
-"The two seem to get along"
*It will take a quite a few steps.
-"The two don't seem to get along"
*It will take a great deal of steps.
-"The two prefer to play with other Pokemon"
*Incompatible egg groups. You will never get an egg.

You will know when you egg is ready because the old man
will step outside of the fence. Talk to him with only 5 Pokemon
or less in your party to receive the egg.

Help! I can't get Azirill or Wynaut!

There are 2 special Pokemon, Marill and Wobbuffett, that
won't product babys unless on of them are holding a special
item. For Marill, it must be Sea Incense and for Wobbuffett it
is Lax Incense.

I have my egg, now how do I hatch it?

Eggs hatch after you have walked a certain amount of steps.
You can either leave the egg in your party and continue on
your journey, or you can force hatch it by hopping on your
bike and flying around. I usually ride in this loop: start at the
top of the cycling road, go down to Fuchsia City, then up to
Lavender Town, through Saffron and Celadon City, and back
to the cycling road.

Inherited moves
While the female Pokemon determines what type of Pokemon
will hatch, the male determines what moves they will know.
Egg moves are moves that a Pokemon would not normally
know on its own, but is passed down to if from the father.
Example: Altaria can learn Dragon Dance, but Bagon can't.
Pair a Male Altaria with Dragon Dance with a female Bagon
and you will get a Bagon that knows Dragon Dance. By this
same method, TMs and HMs can be taught to the baby.

Why should I breed if I can catch that Pokemon in the wild?

Each and every Pokemon is different. Catch 2 identical
Pokemon and compare their stats. There will be differences.
Breeding gives you several advantages. For starters it allows
you to raise the Pokemon from level 5. Lets say I train 2 Zubats
one from level 5 and one that I caught at level 20. By the time they
reach level 100, the one I trained from level 5 will always have
slightly better stats. Second advantage to breeding is you
get to chooses what personality you Pokemon is, allowing
you to choose which stats raise quicker on that Pokemon.
Third and final reason is you can choose which trait a
Pokemon has if it can learn more then one. Example: Rhyhorn
can either have the trait Lightning Rod or Rock Head. You can
keep on breeding Rhyhorns until you get one with the desired
trait.

Q: What pokemon do i use so that the outcome is the same
as the male one?

A: Ditto's greatest quality is that it can breed with any Pokemon,
with the exception of Pokemon belonging to the "None" egg group,
and cause the resulting egg to contain the other Pokemon. This
way you can breed more of a Pokemon even if it is a male.
